Dylan Days 2011 is coming, the annual Hibbing arts event celebrating Bob Dylan and the Iron Range. This year our efforts in Dylan’s hometown Hibbing will sync with an expanding roster of DylanFest events in his birthplace in nearby Duluth. The Duluth News-Tribune has the story. Within I am quoted saying that Hibbing and Duluth have had a “non-compete clause” in our organization of our respective events. I wish I had said “non aggression pact.” That would have been cooler.
Anyway, the new Duluth events and our Hibbing traditions are just one reason to consider making a trip to northern Minnesota from May 24 through Memorial Day weekend.
